Twice a year, the Trico Electric Charitable Trust, which is funded through Operation Round Up, awards non-profit organizations providing critical services in southern Arizona. Grants are awarded in May and December of each year. The proceeds are used to assist community organizations, schools, veteran’s groups, first responders, and food banks. In October 2022, tax-exempt organizations that provide the following services are eligible to apply for a POWER Grant:

Arts and Literacy
Childcare and Development
In March 2023, tax-exempt organizations that provide the following services are eligible to apply for a POWER Grant:

WHO IS ELIGIBLE
Organizations must demonstrate they provide services to a significant number of individuals living in Trico’s service area. (Refer to the Trico Service Area Map for information on service area boundaries). Organizations do not need to be located in Trico’s service area in order to be considered but do need to be located in Southern Arizona.
