SmartHub Log-inTRICO POWER GRANTS
Twice a year, the Trico Electric Charitable Trust, which is funded through Operation Round Up, awards non-profit organizations up to $10,000 each. Grants are awarded in May and December of each year to non-profits providing critical services in southern Arizona. The proceeds are used to assist community organizations, schools, veteran’s groups, first responders, and food banks. Since 2008, Trico’s POWER Grants program has provided $875,000 in funding to local non-profit organizations in our community. Contribute to Operation Round Up.
The Spring 2025 POWER Grants will open on February 3, 2025. Tax-exempt organizations that provide the following services were eligible to apply for a POWER Grant:
- Food and Basic Needs
- Housing
- Health and Mental Care
- Fire and Emergency Response
The Fall 2025 POWER Grants will open in September 2025. Note this is a month earlier than in years prior. Tax-exempt organizations that provide the following services are eligible to apply for a POWER Grant:
- Education
- Substance Abuse Prevention and Support
- Arts and Literacy
- Childcare and Development
