RESIDENTIAL MEMBERS

To Apply for Assistance with Your Trico Bill you can:

After you have applied you will be contacted by a Trico Assistance Team Member to help you through the process.

To qualify for assistance:

  1. You must be a Trico Member with a home located in the Trico service areas of Pima, Pinal or Santa Cruz Counties; and at least one of the following must apply:

    • Household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty guidelines (see FAQ’s for further information)
    • Household has suffered a loss of job or loss of income as a result of the COVID-19 emergency
    • Household has incurred an unexpected and/or unplanned expense related to the COVID-19 emergency

Limitations on Trico bill assistance:

  1. Trico will cover qualifying Member bills in their exact amount up to $500
  2. Recipients are limited to one bill credit per 60-day period

Documents You Will Need for the Application Process:

Trico Assistance Team members will collect documentation from you to determine if you are eligible for aid. In order to process your application in a timely manner, we recommend having your documentation collected before applying for aid. 

Documentation required may include:

  • Applicant's current I.D.
  • List of all occupants in household
  • Proof of income (recent paystubs or paychecks)
  • Evidence of loss of job or reduced income (employer letter, notice of termination, notice of furlough without pay or reduced pay, evidence of reduced hours, proof of application for unemployment)
  • Copy of bills related to COVID-19 (medical, pharmaceutical)

Options for Delivery of Documentation

Trico’s Lobby remains closed, however Trico will accept legible and complete documents that are delivered by:

  • E-mail to COVID Assistance Team
  • Mail: P.O. Box 930, Marana, AZ 85653
  • Facsimile: 520-547-0369
  • Sent via photo and text
  • Delivered to our Dropbox located outside the Trico building: 8600 W. Tangerine Rd., Marana, AZ 85658.

NON-RESIDENTIAL MEMBERS

To Apply for Assistance with Your Trico Bill you can:

After you have applied you will be contacted by a Trico Assistance Team Member to help you through the process.

To qualify for assistance:

  1. Non-residential account must be in Trico service area (Trico Member) in Pima, Pinal or Santa Cruz Counties (GS4 not eligible); and
  2. At least one of the following must apply:
    • Business is closed as a result of the COVID-19 Emergency (voluntary or involuntary) with the intent to reopen following the Emergency; or
    • Significant loss of income or revenue as a result of the COVID-19 Emergency

Limitations on Trico bill assistance

  1. Trico will cover qualifying Member bills in their exact amount up to $2,000. 
  2. Recipients are limited to one bill credit per 60-day period.

Documents You Will Need for the Application Process

Trico Assistance Team members will collect documentation from you to determine if you are eligible for aid. In order to process your application in a timely manner, we recommend having your documentation collected before applying for aid. 

Documentation required may include:

  • Articles of Incorporation/Formation or Owner Current I.D.
  • You must provide documentation to satisfy AT LEAST ONE of the following:
  1. Business Closed as a result of COVID-19 Emergency (voluntary or involuntary) confirmed by:
    • Business type not listed as essential in Executive Order 2020-12 or
    • Other evidence of closing
    • Confirmation of intent to reopen business following Emergency
  2. Loss of income or revenue as a result of COVID-19 Emergency confirmed by:
    • Copies of monthly financials showing loss of business
    • Copies of prior year-to-date financials and current year-to-date financials showing reduced income
