COMPANY BENEFITS

WORKING FOR TRICO

Our benefits and family atmosphere make our employees feel valued and secure. At Trico, you are not just a number or a face in the hall. Here, employees get to know each other and genuinely care about one another.

CREATE YOUR OWN PATH

You can design your career through advancement opportunities, including professional development programs, continuing education programs, and professional association memberships. Whether you’re interested in managing a part of the co-op, specializing in project management, or developing your technical skills, we put people first.

An example of one of our many employees who has been able to advance through the company is Justin, a dedicated employee who put the effort into self-development. Justin began his career at Trico in 1998 as a Student Intern. He advanced from Clerk to Meter Reader to Draftsperson and then through the progression of Distribution Designer ranks. During that time, Trico contributed to his development as an employee. In 2012, Justin became the Supervisor of System Control & GIS and in 2020, he was promoted to Manager of System Control & GIS.

"After finishing school, I came back to Trico, which was a great decision. The work has been challenging in many ways, which is good. I am blessed and thankful to work with great people."

Justin, Manager of System Control & GIS

CONCERN FOR COMMUNITY

We are our Member’s friends and neighbors first and “Concern for Community” is a cooperative core principle that we strongly believe in. Trico’s concern for the community takes many forms.

From our POWER Grant program that funds $70,000 each year to local service agencies, to granting more than 80 college scholarships in 2019, to charitable giving and volunteering, Trico and our employees aim to be actively involved in our community.

Our employees also support the United Way and the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona both with donations and volunteering their time. Be a part of a team that the does the right thing and is proud to take an active role in the community.

GROW WITH THE BEST

At Trico, it’s more than just a job and our Members are more than just customers. Our employees are happy to be here and take the responsibility of ensuring the power stays on in our communities. They flip a switch and the lights come on.

This commitment of all employees unites us into the cooperative family. We genuinely care about each other and understand that each of us is important to fulfilling our mission. Management also understands this and supports each and every employee. Leadership listens to employees, which enables and empowers them to do their job to the best of their abilities.

Be part of a community that's driven to meet the needs of the present while contributing to a sustainable future.
