Community Impact
Grants & So Much More

“Concern for Community” is at the heart of what we do!

One way we get involved with the community is through our POWER Grants program. Twice a year, the Trico Electric Charitable Trust, funded through Operation Round Up, awards grants to assist local community organizations, schools, veteran’s groups, first responders, food banks and more.

NPO Assistance

If you are an organization that is in the Trico service territory or serves Trico Members, Trico is here to help. With our combined efforts we can achieve wonderful things.

Exclusive Member Benefits

education scholarships

Each year, the Trico Foundation awards scholarships to Trico Members and their families to attend a university, community or vocational college. Since 1985, the Trico Foundation has awarded over $5.3 million – benefiting over 809 students – in scholarships to Members and their families.

Washington youth tour

Each summer the Trico Foundation sends local high school juniors on a trip to Washington, D.C., where more than 1,800 students from electric cooperatives across the country come together to visit our nation’s capital. Students spend the week visiting monuments and memorials, exploring museums, and touring the U.S. Capitol Building.

Operation Round Up
An Easy Way to Give Back

For less than $1 per month, you can make a difference in your community. By participating in Operation Round Up, your bill will be automatically rounded up to the nearest dollar, with the extra cents going to the Trico Electric Charitable Trust to help fund local nonprofits. The most you will donate is about $12 a year, and your donations are tax deductible.

Community Events

Electric cooperatives are guided best by Members who actively participate. This is why participation in our Annual Membership Meeting and other co-op events is so important.

For this reason, we hope you will join us on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Casino del Sol Resort, 5655 W. Valencia Rd. Registration opens at 9 a.m. The meeting starts at 11 a.m. and lasts about one hour.
