The Trico Board of Directors is an integral part of Trico’s business operations. The board makes financial, strategic and other key decisions for the co-op.
Each year, two to three seats come up for election. Any Trico Member can run for one of these seats, provided they reside or operate a business in the district up for election that year.
The three Trico districts up for election this year are:
- District 1, serving the Marana and Dove Mountain areas
- District 2, serving the Marana, Picture Rocks and Avra Valley areas
- District 5, serving the Arivaca, Sasabe and Green Valley areas
To run for election to the Board, each candidate is required to complete a Candidate Bio and a Nomination Petition. You must obtain 30 signatures from Members running in the District you wish to represent.
The deadline for turning in completed applications is January 22, 2018, by 4:30 p.m. The packet must physically be at Trico’s office at 8600 W. Tangerine Road.
Being a Director on the Trico Board can be very rewarding; however, it does have certain requirements and commitments. Click here to learn more about serving on the Trico Board.
