A little change can make a big difference
It takes just a few cents each month to help out those in need in our community!
By simply rounding up your electric bill to the next whole dollar amount each month, you can help out your community.
Say your electric bill is $52.73. If you participate in Operation Round-Up, your bill will be automatically rounded up to $53, with the extra 27 cents going to the Operation Round-Up fund.
The Trico Charitable Trust, a non-profit organization, donates these funds to deserving Trico Members, schools and organizations in your communities.
The more people that participate in Operation Round-Up, the more people and organizations the Charitable Trust can help. You'll donate, on average, about $6 a year.
What is the Trico Charitable Trust?
For more than 10 years, the Trico Charitable Trust, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, has made donations to needy people and organizations through Trico’s Operation Round-up (ORU) program. ORU is funded by Trico Members who choose to “round-up” their monthly bill payment to the next dollar.
The proceeds are administered by a volunteer board of Trico Members, and used to assist organizations, schools and Members with critical needs.
The funds you donate are not used to pay Trico Electric bills.
To sign up, just fill out the form below. Your next bill will reflect the rounded-up amount. (You can opt-out of the program at any time by calling Trico's Information Processing Department at (520) 744-2944, ext. 1312.)
