How it Works
Trico’s regular rate for residential electric energy usage is $0.11771 per kilowatt hour (kWh) for the first 800 kWh used and $0.12771 per kWh for over 800 kWh used in a month, 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Time-Of- Use (TOU) customers have two separate rates for electric energy usage: $0.07425 per kWh for off-peak hours and $0.19425 per kWh for on-peak hours.
By shifting energy usage to off-peak hours when energy usage is billed at the lowest rate, TOU members save money! A fixed monthly rate of $28 and the Power Cost Adjustor (PCA) still apply.
Can I participate in Trico’s Time-Of-Use Program?
Trico’s TOU rate tariff is now Frozen. If you are currently taking service under Trico’s TOU rate tariff, you can continue to do so. However, no new members are permitted to begin taking service under this rate tariff at this time.
