Trico is proud to be a Touchstone Energy Cooperative!

You may have seen one of Touchstone Energy’s ads on television or in a magazine and wondered how it related to Trico.

Trico is a member of the nationwide Touchstone Energy alliance of electric cooperatives, a network of more than 600 electric cooperatives in 45 states. Together, these cooperatives collectively deliver power and energy solutions to more than 22 million customers every day!

The Touchstone Energy brand helps co-ops across the country communicate the unique characteristics of not-for-profit electric cooperatives with a unified voice. Though each Touchstone Energy cooperative is locally owned and operated, they jointly advertise and market their services under the Touchstone Energy brand.

Many independently owned businesses join together under one brand name in order to better serve their customers. Ace Hardware, Land O’Lakes Butter and the Got Milk? campaign from the dairy farmers are all examples of independent businesses coming together under one brand name.

By joining together, Touchstone Energy cooperatives can also offer larger-scale services to commercial and industrial customers, services that, alone, any one individual cooperative might not be able to offer.

So the next time you see a Touchstone Energy ad, you’ll know that Touchstone Energy represents Trico as well as hundreds of other electric cooperatives just like Trico all across the country.
