Exciting Operation Cool Shade Changes Coming Soon!
Beginning in March, Trico will kick off a new and improved Operation Cool Shade (OCS) program! OCS has long been a popular program and, in response to our Member’s changing needs, we’ve updated it, making it easier and more convenient for you to participate.
What is OCS? It’s a program for Trico Members where they can purchase low-cost, low-water use trees. By planting these desert-adapted trees at key locations around your house, you’ll lower the temperature of your home — and reduce your monthly electric bill during our long, hot Arizona summers.
Through a partnership with Tucson Clean and Beautiful (TCB), you’ll still be able to purchase up to three five-gallon trees online at Trico’s web site. But now TCB will deliver the trees to your home! You don’t have to drive to Trico on tree day to pick up your trees anymore.
Please be sure to check back in March for all of the program details and to make your purchase
